- Phase 7: Pre-construction Meeting
In this meeting we will discuss Paramount Builders and how we operate as a company. It’s the perfect opportunity to address any inquiries you may have as you navigate the process of selecting the ideal builder for your project.
During the design consultation, we’ll review your wishlist and discuss all the essential features you envision for your home. We’ll also discuss budgeting and planning to strategize the most effective path forward.
This will be your first viewing of your plan! Reggi will guide you through her initial design and take note of any adjustments you’d like to make. This session marks the beginning of the collaborative process where we tailor the plan to perfectly suit your vision and needs.
Once your plan is finalized, we’ll schedule a meeting to cover all interior and exterior finishes. Our goal is to tailor these finishes to your preferences, ensuring accuracy in allowances and details.
During the estimate review, we meticulously go over the project’s cost breakdown. This involves scrutinizing every detail to ensure accuracy and alignment with your budget and expectations.
We will finalize the contract outlining the scope of work, timelines, and payment terms. This step marks the official commencement of the project, solidifying our commitment to delivering your dream space.
During the pre construction meeting site visit, we will go over the final layout of your home on the lot and walk you through it. This marks the beginning of your build.
CONSTRUCTION STAGES
- Stage 1: SITE PREP & Foundation EXCAVATION
- Stage 2: FRAMING
- Stage 3: MECHANICAL & ELECTRIC INSTALLATION
- Stage 4: insulation, drywall & painting
- Stage 5: Final Finishing Touches
We’ll begin by preparing the construction site, staking out the placement of your new home on the lot, and conducting a site visit to discuss details such as finished floor elevation. This ensures all questions are addressed before we proceed to excavate the foundation.
Your home will take shape from the ground up during this phase. Walls will be erected, roof trusses installed, and interior walls framed. The entire structure, including the house and roof, will be covered in sheathing. Following framing, the house will be wrapped, and essential elements such as shingles and windows will be installed.
This stage involves the installation of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring all mechanical components are seamlessly integrated into your home.
With the mechanical systems in place, insulation will be added for energy efficiency. Drywall installation will follow, along with taping, texturing, and painting, providing the foundation for a polished interior finish.
The last step involves completing the interior with cabinets, flooring, trim, and other finishing touches. This phase brings your vision to life, transforming your house into a comfortable and inviting home.
